Cystic acne and Milk (dairy)

Cow milk could be the culprit behind your cystic acne. Cystic acne is acne’s more severe cousin that is not solved by acne creams. Cystic acne is usually deep beneath the surface of the skin which cannot be treated by topicals that target acne-causing bacteria.

The best thing you can do right now to help control cystic acne is cut out cow milk, and all dairy for that matter. Replace it with something like almond milk or with one of the many other varieties of nut milks. The basics of the relation between dairy products and acne is the fact that dairy products such as cow milk are loaded with hormones that baby cows need to develop. A human teen nor adult has any reason to have such a high intake of dairy loaded with hormones that are likely to interact with the hormones in their bodies. The interaction leads to havoc for their skin.

Cutting dairy is simply one of the best things you can do right now to reduce cystic acne, and all acne for that matter.
